The above pictures show the
evolution of the Polaroid Camera from the early 1950's through to
the early 1970's. The camera on the left is a Speedliner 80. It used
roll film, which unfortunately is no longer available. The middle
camera is a Model 100 of about 1963 vintage. It uses the 'modern'
type pack film, which is still available. It is the pull out of the
camera, time the development, peel apart type film. The camera on
the right is the SX-70. It was the first camera to use the new
develop in front of your eyes type film, back in 1972. These
three cameras are just a few of a very extensive range produced
since 1948. |

I am trying to obtain as much
information as I can about Polaroid - the company and also
it's cameras and film products. Should you have any information that
you may wish to send me, please do not hesitate to contact me via
email.
I am trying to collect as much literature as I can,
including old manuals, advertisements, boxes and anything related to
Polaroid cameras.
Also, should you need any information,
please email me. I will try to help you as much as I can, and in
many cases can provide you with a specific or generic copy of the
user manual for your camera.
So, if you have anything you
think I might like, or have a question you need answered, please
don't hesitate to write me. |

Unfortunately, Polaroid Corp.no longer make roll film for their older cameras.
Production stopped in 1992 as they felt the demand was not great
enough. I for one, would like them to make this film again.
Email
me your name - to be added on to
a petition that I am putting together to send to Polaroid asking
them to manufacture roll film again for everyone who still has one
of these fabulous old cameras. |
