It enables online administration, offers a consistent interface across all operating systems, and provides the ability to manage any or all StorageTek disk systems from any location on the network.

Premium features: SANshare Storage Partitioning software
SANshare Storage Partitioning software allows you to consolidate storage in multi-platform environments. It enables a range of hosts with different capacity, performance or data protection demands to effectively share a single StorageTek disk system.

Snapshot Copy software
Snapshot Copy software provides an instantaneous point-in-time image of a volume and requires only a fraction of disk space. The image is fully accessible from your SAN with the same availability characteristics of the original volume.

Internal Volume Copy software
Internal Volume Copy (IVC) software takes the data protection of Snapshot Copy software to the next level by providing a true physical copy. This premium feature in the SANtricity software suite creates a full point-in-time copy of a volume within a disk system for many uses beyond backup.

Remote Volume Mirror software
Remote Volume Mirror (RVM) software protects against data loss through remote data replication. Primary volumes on one StorageTek Open disk system can be mirrored across a SAN to volumes on another Open disk system.
