StorageTek’s remote Storage Operations Center (SOC) monitors
and reports capacity and utilization, storage performance and
availability, backup events and SAN topology. They also provide
inventory reporting, event notification and configuration change
notification.
Tape backup and restore management
StorageTek will assist in the daily success of your backup
and restore environment, including backup configuration,
backup and restore management, offsite vaulting, full configuration
management and problem ownership, monitoring and reporting. We can also
help increase performance and reliability with Service Level Agreement
(SLA) management to improve backup windows, increase the percentage of
completed backups and provide more reliable restores.
Disk and volume services
While you maintain control of your storage environment, StorageTek
will provide oversight of your disk storage volume management to
improve total disk utilization and decrease the time and cost of
provisioning disk volumes. We assist in the daily success of your
storage capacity and disk performance management and more, including:
full configuration management, problem ownership, SAN provisioning,
customer control and interaction, and monitoring and reporting.
Global Storage Manager Software and implementation services
Global Storage Manager (GSM) software enables you to easily manage your
own storage infrastructure. You will have access to storage reporting
through a Web portal interface, with assessment and implementation services
from StorageTek. |
