DAWSON REDUX: We know it's a long way off, but don't forget to pay close attention to the last several episodes of Dawson's Creek. The sneaky execs at the WB are getting ready to manipulate the heck out of us, but we won't complain this time! At the end of the season the net will be planting a character in Capeside who will ultimately wander off into a spinoff and thereby rope us into watching Young Americans, a teen-based soap about a private boys' boarding school.

As if that news isn't exciting enough already, the WB plans to launch the show in the summer, thereby saving us from a couple of months of tedious reruns. Way to go, WB!
