WB's "Young Americans" Set For Summer

LOS ANGELES (UltimateTV.com) - The WB is going back to school for the summer, having picked up Columbia TriStar's one-hour boarding school drama, "Young Americans."

The teen series, which received an eight-episode commitment from the frog net, is scheduled to bow in late June or July. "Young Americans" joins the new Dick Wolf ("Law & Order") drama "D.C." which will also premiere this summer.

As a promotional stunt, one or two characters from "Young Americans" might appear in the last couple of "Dawson's Creek" episodes this season on the WB.

"Young Americans" centers on the lives of both wealthy and blue collar teenagers attending an elite New England boy's boarding school.
