"I traveled almost 3,000 miles to Hollywood and ended up on a TV series that flims in Baltimore!" says Rodney Scott, 22, who left Ocean City, Maryland, two years ago to embark on an acting career, and quickly landed one of the leads in the new WB drama Young Americans. In the first epidsode, poor boy Will Krudski {Scott} cheats his way into a prestigious boarding school. If Scott looks familiar, it's because he played Will on Dawson's Creek this spring. While hanging out with Joshua Jackson, Scott got a taste of stardom: "I flew in a private jet for the first time with Josh to New York City," he recalls. "That was pretty cool."
