Kirstin lends a hand

Talk about opening lines.

Kirstin Cole: "I wanted to come back and say hello before I put my hands on you and started manipulating your joints."

Ed Quinn: Huh?

It was simply a case of mistaken identity for "WB11 Morning News" reporter Cole, who uttered those infamous words to "Young Americans" hunk Quinn (Finn) before yesterday's show.

Cole was working on a story about massage, and thought Quinn was the massage model she would manipulate. Trouble is, the model hadn't arrived yet - and Quinn was in the green room, preparing for the show.

"I have such a big mouth that there's always room for my foot in it," Cole says, laughing.

"[Quinn] just looked at me while the public relations person was desperately trying to flag me in the background."

"Young Americans," with Quinn, debuted last night on Ch. 11.
