Defects with the new product are tracked to closure in TestDirector or other tracking tools.  At the end of the 30 day period, the number of defects are captured and reported by the project manager in the status report.  In addition, when fixes are required during the warranty period, a CSR needs to be opened for tracking migrations.

Warranty period begins when the product is moved into production.
