BrioQuery is available in four different editions: Designer, Explorer, Insight, and Quickview

The availability of different editions is in response to the different ways that people need to access data in the warehouse. Further, the choice of edition is proportional to the information needs of the user, the user's technical experience with client/server database technology, and the way that BrioQuery is used in the StorageTek environment.

Each edition incorporates core query, analysis and reporting features, while adding increased data modeling functionality with each successive edition.
