* Test Coordinator - The individual who verifies that all
necessary elements are there before assigining it to development, and who
tracks the call for reporting and progress purposes.
* Business Analyst - StorageTek and Astea analysts who
validate issues and Remedy Cases, test new software, and analyze the impact
of defects once they are found.
* Astea - Represents the Astea Development Team who codes
the software, and patches any reported defects.
* Internal Development - Internal StorageTek Developers
who, like Astea, code software and create patches to fix reported defects.
* Staging - The group of individuals who implement completed
patches and unerred software code to the test server and/or the production
server for live implementation.
* Retest - Represents the group of analysts who verify
that a defect has been solved by a released patch. Any patch must first
go through a retest before entering into the Staging Status. |
